We invite inspiration. Create your own delicious experience. Feel free to add your favourite extras: a squeeze of lemon, extra pepper, red potatoes, spinach, collard greens, ham, sausage, mushrooms or even a tablespoon of honey. Any one of our soups can become your own expression by simply adding a couple of extra ingredients.

To satisfy a real hunger: Chop some kale and combine it with a grilled, sliced Italian sausage (or ham). It will transform this soup into a hearty meal that is both low fat and gluten free.

Homemade Lentil Soup

Preparing the Soup

  1. In a large saucepan, heat the oil on medium heat. Cook the carrots, celery and onions for 5 minutes.
  2. Add the rest of the ingredients and bring to a boil.
  3. Allow to simmer on low heat, stirring it from time to time, for approximately 75 minutes or until the lentils are soft.
